The Toy's Key

The Toy's Key

A Poem by Anthony

At times I feel,
As just a toy.
Perhaps I shouldn't,
Though I do.

A Toy Soldier to most,
A false friend,
A listener to vent,
A shoulder to cry on,
And nothing more.

A possibility at most,
The chance but null.
Heart constrained,
Unable to open,
Save the single key.
