The Tiger & Tigress

My Tigress is a graceful creature,
Her determination is a great feature.
She may be fierce,
She might growl,
Yet my heart is hers,
To keep on the prowl.

My prowling heart keeps them at bay,
All the suitors stay far away.
Her mind is made up,
As is mine,
To live our lives,
Intertwined.

Our lives are wound as in a spire,
As roots wrap around and build a foundation,
For the joined lives support each others,
In a relationship,
Of true companionship.

Cuddled together,
Keeping the warmth,
Of the raging flame,
Burning brightly,
Forever amongst,

The stars.
