Once Forsaken

Once Forsaken

A Poem by Anthony

Though I've been forsaken,

I've yet to be taken,

As my talented heart,

Has failed yet to start,

With my well open mind,

I find myself in a bind,

To make but one choice,

Of which I must voice.

What am I feeling,

With these cards I've been dealing.

Being told by the fates,

To march through those gates,

And walk down these halls,

To get past your walls.

As I peer unto thy soul,

It must take its toll,

I feel my heart break,

If you look to forsake,

But if you will heal,

Then I might feel,

My heart start to mend,

As I try love again.
