Can It Be Said Too Much?

Dedicated to the one who has my heart.

 

I've had some tell me,
That I say it too much.
Others have spoke their minds,
And said that’s just not right.

I’ve tried to say it less and less…
But I just can’t help myself,
When I feel the way I do.
When the feelings for you rise,
And my heart wants to sing…

I say the first thing on my mind, Aeshiteru.

My heart keeps a pumpin,
It just won’t stop its thumpin,
Whenever I think of you.
Oh babe, I just gotta say it.
Oh how it hurts not to say it.

Babe, I love you.

Whenever I say it, my heart soars.
My breath grows quicker as I wait for you…
Oh babe, how I love you!

Can we really overuse the phrase that attempts to explain?
The phrase that helps fathom, the love I hold for you.
In my soul you won’t find an end,
The light of your love makes the depths bright,
And the surface shine.

How can I use the phrase too much?
Does its value diminish?
In my eyes there is no end,
In my soul there cannot be,
Any less of the love I share with you.

So babe, I’ll say it again…

I Love You.

I wrote this poem while laying in bed. I typed this 7 text page long poem on my cell phone.. and had to retype it on here.. Hope you enjoy it. and let me know if you agree with it :)

In my opinion, if someone says that you say "I love you" too much, then they clearly don't know what love is or want what you have to offer. It's a powerful, strong sentence, probably one of the most incredible sayings in the world, and you have to understand it before you say it.
Of course I agree with it.

This is so sweet! And so true- can we really say I love you so much that it doesn't mean anything anymore? If you're truly in love, I think it probably means more each time. There's a small typo in the first stanza: spoke should be spoken. Besides that, incredibly sweet poem!
