A Wilting Rose

A Wilting Rose

A Poem by Anthony

A wilting rose radiates not beauty,
The affection it was receiving is no more,
Without someone to care for it,
The rose will fade away.

Yet, a wilting rose may heal,
With flowing tears the mind may mend,
With a sadness ending,
A life may be renewed.

Shower a flower with care,
And it shall bloom for you.
Shower a flower with neglect,
And is shall do not but wilt.

A tender ray may soon appear,
A tender shower may renew,
This wilting rose shall heal,
As it shines its beauty again.
