Sunset

Sunset

A Poem by Anushka Rupani

On a rock she sat
Takin in the glory set before her eyes
The chirping of the birds
Was like music to her ears

Each wave brought the sense of calmness to her heart
Which was something she never felt before

She sat there watching the sunset
Takin in all the radiant colours
The sky changed into
From orange to red to purple with a hint of pink
She sat through it all
Amused by the glory set in front of her eyes

At that moment she felt time stop
Nature was the artist
And she was it's admirer
Completely indulged in the beauty the artist had to offer

She had a million chores
But she choose to stay
Her mind knew
She had to leave but her heart just couldn't agree
It was a sight to behold
Which she never wished to leave

Ignoring few grammatical errors as you said. I liked the rest Anushka you have the talent in you to be a promising poetess. You explained the beauty of sea shore having a sunset so beautifully, I loved it. Only suggestion use of commas and words like Takin in can be replaced with glance or pounce the way you like, rest is all brilliant. Keep writing, and Have a wonderful day ahead :)
