This poem is written about a specific someone who I never spoke a word with but that person taught me something. I haven't seen that person in a while so I have preserved that person in my poetry.

Sleeves draping down your shoulders
There's a tiny hollow on your nape
I mirrored your attention
You are the study I aced.
Loose strands that follow my trail
I wonder how I look, when you gaze
One piece apart
I caught your eyes but you caught my maze.
Tell me if I often puzzle upon your mind
Do you reflect on my ways
I know you were amused to see me
Do you still bother to think about those days.
I am curious
But I think I've faded
It will only make it more beautiful
Because it continues if it was never completed.
My universe completes my paradise
You don't have to do it anyways
But I'll always remember those skies
And that invisible floating haze.
I still feel the smell
Though I never smelled anything, but my space
If we would have ever held onto whatever we faced
The fragile rush would have broken,
Leaving us for finding new places.

I believe that there are a lot of mixed emotion in this piece…. First you wonder if he thinks of you , yet you say that you are in your own paradise…. Is this imagination or in reality? It seems that your memory of this person is fading and what was your relation -ship like? You say in your preface that you never said a word to this person? It must be a figment of your imagination or a dream

Hi betty,
I met this person like a year ago. I haven't seen him for like 7 months now. Our interaction wasn't about me or him. It was about us and it was magical. We never spoke but we did some small things. I'll tell you an instance where I was adoring his name in the log book and purposely placed a very little dot on his name. Next day I found a dot on my name while doing the entry. He adored my name too. There are loads of more such interactions but we knew if we started talking or physically interacting or knowing each other personally would only shatter this purity that we felt. So we never talked. NEVER. I don't regret it but I don't want to forget it. So before I lost that essence of him in my memory which I can still feel strongly I wrote it down. Th confusions he left on me are the most beautiful part because everything that's unexplored yet known is so beautiful to me just like the depth of the Oceans. It only makes me more and more interested. So I don't want to loose that however busy life makes me.

You make us feel like these two people embraced...even when there was no touch between them, only a relationship imagined.......This kind of love can always play out as we want it to...

I can still just remember his name and feel what it could have been felt like embraced by him though we only looked at each other from far. Only our eyes were talking. I am glad I could experience something like this.
