I do

I do

A Poem by Anushka joshi
"

Pov:- My diary

"
I hear those screeching thoughts
Colliding the walls of her brain,
Right when she opens my first page
I do.
I listen to how she starts mumbling
Between her cries and tries to weave her thoughts,
So they don't traumatize others,
I do.
Shivering strokes of her fingers
Resisting the urge to tear up my pages like her tearing ties
She asks me to be patient with her,
I do.
I remember the drops of memories
She poured on me
First fear second resentment third grief
fourth regret; yes
I do
I feel her need to pen everything down
As if it really clears her mind
I know it requires more than that but,
I do.

A tragedy in the making, life altering focus as if melting to little or nothing. Your display of deterioration and frustration is shown via your understanding. Helped by diary and diaries, past photographs and events you could discuss, bring to life - were it possible. This is sadness near tearing its hair out but

I agree, you can't beat paper .. or in my case, parchment :)

Beautifully creative Anushka. You bring your diary to life and give it a human voice and feelings. Lovely poetry.

Like her tearing ties...nice line.
Anushka, this is a creative point of view.
by weird coincidence, I just wrote a poem that is from the poem's point of view.
She doesn't know whether to write in the diary or tear it up...she is not sure which would help ease her emotions the most.
