The lost love

Learn to move on

So many write ups on lost love I read,

Wonder why do people feel tense about that,

Why are people so worried about the heart break?

Life is not only about love and hate,

If you love someone then let that person free,

Why do you keep on thinking about it only?

Just tell your mind that, that person was not meant to be yours,

Just open your mind and get involved with others,

There are many other more important issues in life to look at,

Making your loved ones proud of you is one of them,

Just enjoy the simple things in life,

I am sure smile on your mother's face is more important,

The day your friends and family feel proud of you,

Is more important than the day you spend about thinking about the lost love,

What is not meant to be yours can never be yours at all,

Forget about the love that is lost,

Look around and find the person who actually loves you a lot,

Life is not about crying because someone dumped you,

Its about finding your actual being,

Please dont act as loser and cry all the time,

If you succeed in life, your love might come back,

Remember this that true love is only found in fairy tales,

Please dont get depressed if your love fails,

Move on friends, please move on from that.

I very much agree with your views. Life is about going forward. It is not about self pity. "If you love someone then let that person free" is the only way to be. Love is not about possession or control. It is an extension of friendship. I disagree that true love is only found in fairy tales. Well, perhaps I live in a fairy tale. As my 44th wedding anniversary approaches I am sometimes tempted to pinch myself to see if I am living in a dream but, of course, I don't because, if I am I wouldn't want to wake up. I enjoy your philosophy however I must agree that this work is not very poetic. A poem needs rhythm, a pulse like a song. Perhaps you are more of a philosopher than a poet. I wish this website had a category for thoughts instead of just poems and stories.

Love, to many, is an exhilarating feeling and it's not easy to let go the unrequited love that easily. If our mind has a better hold on us than our feelings, perhaps things you say are easy to follow.
Reciprocity of love is very important and when that's not realized then your words-- "If you love someone then let that person free".I totally agree with these words --"There are many other more important issues in life to look at" as we gain nothing grieving over something that leads us nowhere.
Life is short, make it sweet by vesting time at right things.What's meant to happen will find it's way:)

Thinking about a single person wont make your life worth it...if someone doesnt love you that its their choice...by becoming devdas you are also affecting the lives of people who actually love you like your family and friends....for me it is just a draamebaaji...may be I am wrong....but you cant allow someone to play with your minds....i think .gyaan zyada hogya....chalo Babaji ke parwachan ka time khatam...jo karna hai karo :) :)
