What is happiness?

We all have our own definition of happiness.

What is happiness?

Is it in the smile of a kid?

or is it in the death of an evil?

Is it in having an aquarium?

Or is it in eating that fish?

Is it in enjoying ones right to live?

Or is it in helping other person to survive?

Is it in the well being of our loved ones?

Or is it in defeat of our enemy?

Is it in how others look at our lives?

Or is it in being satisfied?

Everyone has his own definition,

Some enjoy seeing others suffer,

Some just want to get along with others,

Happiness it seems in the peace of mind,

It is in fulfillment of our needs,

But demarcation must be made between need and greed,

Happiness for me is a very complex word,

We can be happy for anything,

Or feel sad for everything,

Happiness is just a state of mind.

Very true! However, some things tend to be so deep that they seem to touch the soul... but I wholeheartedly agree how happiness is a state of mind and we may have more control over it than we think! Were we taught what happiness is and how to obtain it? Is it all preconceived? Most likely not! As long as we go out of our way to discover how true happiness feels!
