Checkmate

Checkmate

A Poem by Anuolua

Lilies blue and lilies bloom, roses red and roses dead,
give me a singer in thy stead,
let the drums sound in my ear,
let the town wake up again,
a cry rings forth among the merchants, an eagle soars with an enchanting cry,
balance the tumblers ye fair ones of the day,let not the fog becloud thine sight,
so there would be no f*g to behold,
Men in frocks, men with hats, men in garlands fair and blue,
check this mate,
for it is only fair, that I should see what thou hast seen.

This is great! In my opinion it doesn't even have organizational issues. I'd like to see a painting of this poem; I feel like a visual would really add to it- but I don't know if you can paint! Either way, I love it!
