Masked by raindropsA Poem by Anuja Mardolkar
Was it the breezy wind so chill
or was it the spectrum persuading to be seen? Was it the dance of raindrops on the earthy floor which urged me to open the door and run out to dampen myself in the downpour ? No it wasn't any of those! I just lacked the guts to wipe out the tears which rolled emerging from swollen eyes and deep inside my soul The tears demanded not to stop And hence I masked them as raindrops! © 2017 Anuja MardolkarAuthor's Note
