As the rain falls

As the rain falls

A Poem by Anubis Darkclaw

On this night of all nights
Darkness shrouds over me
As the cold air blows
Ever so chilling
I walk outside
To see if you are near
Is she coming?
Or is she here?

The stars so bright
The moon glowing in all her glory
Dark clouds set in
To tell of a new story
I wait and wait
For you to be near
I look for your beauty
So far
So near
The thunder rolls
As lightening fills up the sky
I've waited so long
Hoping the storm will never die

As the rain falls
Ever so fast
Hearing it hit the ground
As time has passed
Soon to hold
Soon to be free
As the rain falls
It's you I see
