A Lovely BurdenA Poem by Antoninawww.evoca.com/everyone_recording.jsp
I hold your heart in my heart, clasped against my breastbone, just beneath the skin. Each breath; a heave below this weight, draws it closer still fusing muscle into bone.
How I’ve tried to set it loose, pry it free with trembling fingers. But it holds me firm, and lingers on clutching at my chest. I hold your heart in my heart. I hold your heart. © 2008 AntoninaFeatured Review
