Sleepwalker

Sleepwalker

A Poem by Anti Phalanx

Acting is easy,
But lying is sleazy.

Hollow portraits aren't much,
And desires to be someone or something else are bordered on cacoethes,
Displeased by this disease.

Thoughts are the best so far but they're impossible to touch,
In my mind I see, but through my eyes I see my body halt and freeze with unease,
I can't even tell if it's someone else or me that I'm trying to please.

I don't even know who I am any more,
I'm in thoughts galore.
