A Stupid Struggle

A Stupid Struggle

A Poem by Anti Phalanx

A thread of hatred,
Snapped & you're snapped,
It's a fine old piece of string,
Long and agitative,
Like pure untouched snow versus a gentle tread,
Or fury in a bottle left uncapped,
Or being alone hoping the phone doesn't ring.
Or trying to find a something to rhyme with 'agitative'.

This is gorgeous. I was distressed at one line, and outright laughing at the last.
