Wrong ringing

Wrong ringing

A Poem by Anti Phalanx

So strange is a thing when rhyming a thing with another thing.
Then your phone'll ring, you're about to ring, but you cannot ring.
You'll sing. Sing. songing. Singing- songs? Sing.
Wait.
There's a ringing, softly singing, bringing- hymnes? Sings- songs!
This ronging- ringing. rings rightly but raw around all wrongs.
Sadly songing things ringing gently sings singing something rings.
Wait.
There's a ring, singing sedately songs of things humming lately.
Wait.
It's late. Go to sleep. No one's ringing at this time of night.
