I want to be a Fish.

A creature so free,

To wander the sea,

Swimming in glee,

Like my ultimate fantasy,

Why is it this can not be?

A cute little rhyming piece! I enjoyed it. However, I must ask....why a fish! My dad just caught a salmon a few hours ago... do you know the torture they go through when they are hooked, dragged in and then thumped to death on the beach! ;p
Anyways...It was a good poem... But I am curious...why a fish?

I am aware of what they can go through but I've always liked water & fish without a doubt. When I think of tranquillity, I think of a vast ocean with nothing really to focus on so I see it as something peaceful. Fish live there, so I figured you know? The salmon however... I don't know, I guess I just take a liking to that particular fish.

Okay! =) For me it was always wanting to be a bottle nose Dolphin or an Orca Whale. But i'm more an air element person myself... the animal that i'd pick would be a Golden Eagle. =)

Orca's are beautiful definitely, It's just a simple common fish more peaceful idealistically, at least in my mind they are. But I have agree with you with the element thing, I'd say I love birds more than fish, it's just I didn't think the sky fit the bill for what I was writing about in my opinion. However I'd rather be an Eagle Owl than a Golden Eagle, but that's just me :)

That's okay... I was just being a brat about the whole fish thing. It just happened to catch my eye because my dad got all excited after catching one in just 15 minutes of being on the beach this afternoon. =P I think everyone has their elements and that's just fine that everyone's different. It makes the world a unique and wonderful place. =)

Fair enough. I guess my element reflects on my current mood, so I guess I'm in quite a mellow mood recently. And indeed it does, It'd be a pretty dull place without variety :)
