Nice Weather

Nice Weather

A Story by AAmell
"

This is a writing that I completed back in 2014. it is from a book entitled "642 Things to Write About." Look into it, it is quite fun.

"

Prompt: A storm destroys your uncle’s shed and kills his six-year-old son. Describe the color of the Sky right before the storm his.

“Wow, what nice weather we’re having. We haven’t had clear skies like this in forever. Hey Uncle Ron, whadda ya say you have little George go grab the fold out tables from the old shed and we’ll have ourselves a barbeque? What, that cloud way over there? Naw, it’ll be fine. Go tell George to grab the tables before this wind picks up anymore.”

Author's Note

AAmell
I channeled inspiration from the Six Word Novel about baby shoes on this one. It has sort of a sad overtone, being that you already know the outcome.
