College Writing II- Breaking The Ice

College Writing II- Breaking The Ice

A Poem by Benjamin
"

This was the first time I have ever sat down and let myself write freely

"
In the unfamiliar warming sun you can see the cooling air flow through a young girls hair and hear the newly dried leaves crinkle between each step.  The small buds of a shaky bush  are beginning to color, soon followed by the yellow blooms of nearby trees.  The scramble of foreign languages barely subside the roar of nearby traffic.  After tasting the spring fresh air no longer chilled with the cold winter air, I begin to relax and write what I feel.
