Revelation (title might change)

A Poem by Aria
"

this is a scene from a chapter of my book. i haven't actually gotten to this part of the story yet but i had the imagery in my head and wanted to write it down.

"

I pulled off my wings

Open the door and walk in

Hear your pathetic choir as it sings

All this cold won’t kill my sin

Bare feet on your bare ground

Sweet starlight shining through the stained glass

My heart pounds but you’re deaf to the sound

Deaf, dumb and blind to every single mass

But my oh my what a beautiful thought

With you here I’d never be alone

But my oh my, you have to be bought

With you here, all I am is stone

So throw me to the lions and laugh

Throw me but watch my eyes

Watch as I call out your bullshit lies

Watch as I cut you down to half

But my oh my what a beautiful thought

As my knees crack down to your ground

Hear the smile as I pull out my gun

Pull the trigger and spray all over your son

But my oh my wasn’t that a beautiful sound

About
I don't do well with talking about myself so I will simply say that my writing sets the stage for my imagination to play. But more than that, every piece I write, whether a poem or novel, is a bit of .. more..
