THis is the first chapter of a new story i came up with a few hours ago. Obviously it's not finished but I'd like feed back for this all the same. Thanks!


Little orphan Haven Monroe has lived for 25 years but she's never been alive. Not truly. Now, under the guidance of Dr. Harper and fellow half-lifes, Haven helps track down and punish those who take sport in turning unborn children into something else. Enter Kal Baker. Is he a champion of this game or is he something else, too? Whatever he is, he's Haven's new target. And unless he convinces her his heart belongs inside his rib cage, his hours are numbered. Lucky for him though, Haven's got a little crush.
