A Dream for WinterA Poem by AriaMidnight stars cast their breath upon your face As the moon makes the frosted waters dance The winter does not your enchantment erase Only reminds me of our sweetly given chance
You smile as my fingers trace your skin As my heart can do nothing but begin And as I breathe your breath inside of me The path of Heaven is all I see
All I bare witness to As I fall into you
And fear not the perils of the wild Nor wicked fools that make us prey None shall steal the joys of our child For none shall withstand our fray
And while you dream away a sweet reverie While I kiss your lips, awaiting infinity
You smile as my fingers trace your skin As my heart can do nothing but begin And as I breathe your breath inside of me The path of Heaven is all I see
All I bare witness to As I fall into you
