I like the personification of morning in the first line. I like how the character of morning is present as the two lovers part ways. That is a pretty powerful connection. Then you reach that time of day where the light is weakest and we are left to wonder where these two lovers will journey next. Well done.

Wow, a very good haiku! I always prefer haikus to have a touch of home (China, Japan).. that is, not using complex or uncommon words. And this is exactly I would have had it.

Though this has nothing to do with the review, I'd just say, English haikus don't even have to be 575 (But 575 maximum). English language's rhythm goes well with only medium and long poems.

Keep writing.
