Cacophony (temp)

Cacophony (temp)

A Poem by Aria

Take my heart on a silver platter

Pay no mind to their vacant chatter

Breathe my skin, be my sin

Be my very reason for treason

Don't wake me from this dream

I very much like to scream

Shout and yell till my throat bleeds dry

Slice and dice till I'm rid of the lie

But please, please, pretty please

Sit down and stay a long, long while

I love how the earth shakes our trees

I love, oh how I love how we spiral

Down, down into the ground

Making the most glorious sound

Making the most beautiful sound

As we go down, down into the ground

And light the fire to our flame

Kissing me goodnight for all of time

Then tire from all the fame

When you deem this a crime

But please, please, pretty please

Sit down and stay a long, long while

I love how the earth shakes our trees

I love, oh how I love how we spiral

Down, down into the ground

Making the most glorious sound

Making the most beautiful sound

As we go down, down into the ground

Author's Note

Aria
not sure of the title. any suggestions will be helpful.

and about the piece...it's another 'i shouldn't love you cause i hate you' poem. In that sort of mood lately. There's something to be said though about loving someone you hate. it's beautiful and destructive and quite tragic. Because even though you hate what this person does to the both of you, you love them too much to leave. Ah well...

wow, this goes to the core...this has all the drama packed into it..this type of relationship is like caught between a rock and hard place...loving one part and hating the other...that has to be very difficult. ...but you showed the struggle so well...very well done..

Thanks again, Antonio. Spiral may be a contender. And yes, you can't have love without hate and vice versa. like day without night. they go hand in hand.

I know this feeling well. Hate is a strong word, but how can you truly hate someone, you don't even know. Love, sometimes is the flipside of hate.

Speaking of which, I didn't hate this, I loved it.
I would name this, Spiral, but then, I'm pretty simple minded :)
