Evening Mass (temp title?)A Poem by Aria
Close your eyes and hold your breath Fall to your knees as they draw near Whisper the prayers that create death Give them everything to fear
Steady the earth beneath your feet Keep watchful eyes of your Kings and Queens Sacrificing all but defeat And be not crippled by their sorrowful scenes
Drench the grass with your blood And render their bodies helpless on the ground Make them drown within your flood As their echoing cries weave a beautiful sound
Rise with the Sun As the stars fall with their lullaby Feel your hearts beat within the run And marvel at your Kings and Queens in the morning sky
