Chapter OneA Chapter by AnonymouslyWeird“Peter!” Avory, a
popular girl from West High, called as she jogged towards Peter Stronghill with
her strawberry blonde hair swinging behind her in a ponytail. Peter Stronghill was
facing his twin brothers: Patrick and Paul; he ignored Avory. Avory tapped Peter’s
right shoulder once she reached him. She kept a red rose hidden behind her with
her left hand holding it tight. Peter turned around
to see Avory shyly smiling. “What do you want?”
Peter asked, no emotion painted on his face. Avory revealed the
rose by letting it fill the space between her and Peter. “What do I do with
that?” Peter asks, still giving no care. “It’s for you,
Valentine’s Day is almost"“ Avory wasn’t able to finish what she was about to
say. “Throw it. It’s
nothing useful” Peter says, turning around to leave. “But I"“ Avory
didn’t finish, Peter already left her.
Later on lunch, the
Stronghill triplets eat at the same cafeteria table with Carter Oakden, Gerald
Maberry and Sean Calix. “Hey Peter, I saw
you and Avory this morning. Looks like Avory Kabrich is crushing on you” Carter
teases and he slightly laughs, sitting across Peter. “Shut it, carter. I
don’t like her. She clingy” Peter says, eating one piece of fries from the
little brown bag on the tray that rested on the table. “Seriously? You hate
clingy girls? They are cute, bro” Sean says as he sips from his in-can soda,
sitting across Patrick who is sitting at the left of Peter. “They are annoying!”
Paul whines as she shoves a piece of biscuit in his mouth, he sits across
Gerald who sat at the right of Peter. “They’re fine
though” Patrick comments as he shoves a
piece of biscuit into his mouth. “Hello, Carter” “Sean, you’re
amazing!” “Gerald, hi! Ahhh!” “I love you, Peter!” “Patrick, will you
be my Valentine?” Patrick ignored
that. “Paul, you are SO
HOT!” The compliments
appeared here and there. They were utterly popular, good-looking and they are
too rich. On the other hand,
Christina Miller ran as fast as she could to the rooftop of the school,
thinking she was late for her lunch time with her friends. Her frizzy hair was
all over the place, her black shirt hung loosely on both her shoulders and her
below-the-knee, white skirt flowed below her. Her feet was quick as she went up
the stairs. “Guys? You here?”
Christina calls out once she reached the rooftop. “SURPIRSE!” Ellen
Marco and Janice Anderson yells, bringing a banner that says “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” “Oh my goodness! Is
that really for me?” Christina asks, her hands on her mouth and a little
teary-eyed. “Of course! Happy 17th Birthday, Ina!” Janice
says, her lips slightly pouting due to the braces on her teeth. “This is all we can
do for now. We’re sorry” Ellen says, her thick glasses covered almost half her
face. “It’s okay, guys. I
love it!” Ina says and hugs both of them. “And I brought
a…CAKE!” Janice exclaims, pointing at the cake by the beach. “Ooh! Cake!” Ina
cheers, clapping her hands. “I prepared three
paper plates and three forks” Ellen says, taking three paper plates and three
forks from a pink paper bag. Once each the girls
got themselves a plate and a fork, they started digging onto the cake. The three girls live
simple lives, although the three of them are rich, they prefer ‘simple’. After eating lunch,
Peter, Patrick, Paul Carter, Gerald and Sean decide to hang around the
Stronghill’s mansion. Their house is really BIG! In fact, it’s too big for them
and their helpers. The girls on the other hand, decided to go to the mall that Janice owns, nobody knows except Ina and Ellen. “Guys, the mall
seems close” Christina says, seeing that no one is there and the lights are
out. The girls hop off
the car and felt the cold breeze on their warm faces. “Guys, you sure that
zombie apocalypse isn’t happening at the moment, right?” Ina asks, shivering
from the cold, her jacket wasn’t enough to keep her warm. “Ina, you’re over
thinking. Let’s go” Janice says, leading the way to the mall. Ellen followed Ina,
adjusting her glasses. Once the girls
stayed two feet away from the door that leads to the mall, the lights suddenly
turns on. “SURPRISE!”
approximately fifty people shouted. They were Janice’s
workers from the mall, they prepared the mall for Ina’s birthday. “Is this…?” Ina
didn’t finish, she was too astonished. “It’s for you, Ina.
Happy birthday” Janice says, hugging Ina. “You guys are
amazing!” Ina exclaims and hugged both Janice and Ellen. On the other hand,
the Stronghill triplets came home as they got greeted by their helpers. “Race you to the
kitchen!” Paul declares as she speeds off to the dining room and quickly sits
on his chair, the left from the center. Peter trails behind
him and Patrick didn’t seem to care, so he slowly walked to the dining room to
see Peter sit on the center and Paul on the left. The helpers placed
the assorted food on the table. “Patrick, you’re"“
Paul didn’t get to finish his sentence at all. “I know, I know. I’m
IT, but I don’t want to play. You two can play alone in the game room” Patrick
notifies sitting down at the right of Peter. “As always” Peter
whispers as took a lot of food from its glass bowls that were scattered all
around the table. “Good evening,
Master Peter” Martin, Peter’s personal assistant (PA), says as he bows down
beside Peter. “Good evening,
Master Patrick” Thomas, Patrick’s PA, says as he bows down beside Patrick. “Good evening,
Master Paul” William, Paul’s PA, says as he bows down beside Paul. “Martin, I need you
to report my weekend schedule” “Thomas, can you
cancel the school meeting for tomorrow?” “William, can you
ready the game room? I want to play after I eat” That went on and on
and on. © 2015 AnonymouslyWeirdAuthor's Note
