Hidden feelings on the inside, strong and bold on the outside Are you truly fine?

-Fine

 

If I say it’ll be fine

Will it really be?

I gave it one more try

To test it out and see

 

The result is the same

I can’t stop the pain

Tired of the game

A game called you and me

 

Holding in my tears

Hiding from my fears

I called for you

But you were never here

 

And yet still

My heart is always filled

With only thoughts of you

Do you think of me too?

 

 

If I say it’ll be fine

If I smile on the outside

I can’t help but cry

Will my tears ever dry?

 

I can wear a mask

Cover up my scars

But will it ever last

When you and I are apart?

 

I lie, I always say

Everything will be okay

I promise today is a new day

But you are so far away

 

If I say it’ll be fine

Will it really be?

I am tired of the tries

Cry, cry and let it be
