What We Rely On

What We Rely On

A Poem by Anonymous Shadow
"

Random poetry fragments thrown togther.

"

hope flies on broken wings

crashing down into the night sky

the dreams of the innocent

crumble into dust that floats away

love's own arrows bend

making cupid become unemployed

fate stops running after everyone

and expects someone to chase him

time falls and doesn't get up

forcing everything to stop and wait

Good writing - to say so much with just a few words. Nicely done...a little hopeless maybe! LOL But hopelss desribed beautifully.

I really enjoyed this one - although short, it says a lot, and very well at that! I'm adding this one too to my library of favorites.

So damn true, and whilst it's one of the shortest you've written, it's also one of the most powerful and truthful.
This is simply amazing Sinead.
Absolutely excellant!
Bravo!
