Matching Scars .

A poem about my best friend, Natalie <3

Our scars are the same

though each others not to blame

when we met it was boom!

our friendship is brighter than the moon

 

i don't know where i'd be

without you, the sunshine in my life

our broken hearts are coiled as vines

and nothing will break our bind

 

tip-toe, tip-toe

we snuck into each others worlds

like leaves falling

falling as they twirled

 

imprisoned by our memories

our painful past and present

we're the only ones who know

each of the others torments
