Broken Hearts And Bloodshed

Broken Hearts And Bloodshed

A Poem by Kory

Glass Fills The Floorboards On The Red Carpet

The Window Not Yet Replaced With New Mystery

Rooms Filled With Black Walls Burnt By Hatred

Ashes Cover The Ceiling Ways

Nothing Left But Emptyness Within The Cave Ways

The Smell Of Nothing But Broken Hearts And Bloodshed

Smeared All Over The Walls By Untrusted Hands

Walking Outside You Look Into The Blackened Skies

Wondering How Such Hate Could Reside In Such A Place

As Moon Beams Find Your Sadden Bright Green Eyes

Sitting On The Curb In Dismay, Awaiting Your Next Torment...

As Your Soul Crys With The Fire, Becoming The Ashes Desire

Dropping The Rose Upon The Broken Mirror, With The Twisted Company Forgotten....
