BloodStream

BloodStream

A Poem by Kory

I Sit In This Silent Room Filled With Empty Space

A Shallow Light Moves Through The Crevice

Creeping Across The Room Like A Snake In The Forest

Slithering Through The Night With Its Thoughts

Chasing Down Everything You Worked For

Slowly Approaching Your Bloodstream

Striking At Your Heart

The Only Place Confined With Things

That Noone Else Can Consider Or Concieve

As You Spread Your Wings

Flying Into The Unknown

Searching For The Final Answer

That Has Seeked You

Since The Beginning

Of All Life Known Itself

All Lies Fortold

All Truths Known

Piecing Together Your Puzzle

As The Final Piece Closes Your Book

Concluding Your Fate

With The Final Thoughts Of A Patriot

Clutching His Flag As If It Were His Own

As The Rain Begins To Pour

So Let The Storm Begin, My Friends...
