Self-Admiration

Self-Admiration

A Poem by AnonymityKills

You carry striking appearances that catch gazes and reflex envy.

You substantiate intellectual rigor, meshed with spark, tinged with anger.

You drive so fast, but more mindful now to ease off and coast along, a conscious pace.

This search for god, search for guide, search for approval is over.

Turn toward yourself, not away. Tendril out toward your interest.

Repotted in nutrient dense soil. To tug at leaves makes vines prone to weakness.

Time and slow growth will reward you in gardens. Fruit bears life where you relive comfort.
