Beach Life

Warm

Smooth sand

Silently

Slips under feet

While the deep ocean,

Cerulean splendor,

Crashes loudly on the shore.

Shells and special rocks are scattered

Amongst the myriad of tourists

Who clutter the beach on the coast of Home.

The sun slowly starts to disappear

Below the horizon of blue,

With bright yellow rays shining

Into broken water.

On the silent sand,

We hold tanned hands.

The ocean

Is now

Calm.
