dialogue with the soul

dialogue with the soul

A Poem by AnonHimMoose

mysterious friend from my the vacuous echoes,

why did you return on this hammering tune

and cast my thoughts in the basso continuo

of tongues I wade to receive the fresh silence?

did I maybe lost some of that melody

that I first hear only for moving away

from other spurns? did I then not properly

revered the offering of the sound, as it

dragged through the rondeau the sly baritone

that earned the screams of a world bid to order?

are you such voice that seeks to free its secrets

from the chocking of experiences? do you

commune with the objects I shun in passing

heedful only to their auxiliary gloss whose

beauty remains hidden until you sing it?

did you await till I knew I was ready

to breach the wails I had hardened for contempt

with the purple fragrance of cherry blossoms

and the candid pulp from some lingering veils

and sublimate the granulometry of

my touch in ripening quakes of the ground?

then continue, I listen.
