beyond nature

beyond nature

A Poem by AnonHimMoose

rain falls from the sky seat,

wet drops bring darker hues

to bricks and floors the heat

has bleached with pale shades;

a spider crawls the wall

to taste the vapours on its body

and rests in a cool pool

that its legs circle in stillness;

the dripping sounds of absent dancers

resume the smells that busy steps

have left unconsciously behind

to give the air the musky scent of redemption;

and all will fade,

as the shadows that circle the droplets,

when the tyranny of the sun has restored

forms to their due colours;

beyond nature

what else there could be_

to grasp all that comes to happen

in a cloud that leaves its rain behind

and pursues toward invisionable destinations

that the mind chases in toils of unfathomable reliefs.

beyond nature,

beyond the empty stares pointed

to the distances that nourish all separations,

the spider recoils its legs.
