Labyrinth of Perplexity

Labyrinth of Perplexity

A Poem by Anon135
"

Tried to be more creative with this one, not sure just how well it came out though

"

My dreams
Broken records of persuasion
My emotions
Meaningless and insignificant
Envy
A deadly sin armed with a vice grip tightened on my heart
The water, accomodated with the reflection of regret

Tortured by the silent screams of tear-drenched anguish
It's everywhere
In the tone of your voice, in the sparkle of your eyes
It pollutes my mind, my thoughts, my dreams

Faces of disgust peer into my soul
My barren heart echos of apologetic mistakes
My eyes are unable to withstand the sight of my own depression
Doubt lingers on my shoulders

Alone in the commotion of life
Trapped in a maze of mysteries
Left alone to uncover the riddle of love
But I'm unable to feel, unable to understand

Agitation united with aggravation
Ready to embrace rejection
The rejection of your eyes
That speaks only with goodbyes

Oh My God,This poem is soooo good that I HAD to read it more than four times.
This verse in particular,(Tortured by the silent screams of tear-drenched anguish
It's everywhere)Was one of the most beautiful lines I have ever read.
Keep up the flawless work!
