Falling

This is really very old...I just found it the other day and decided to post it for the thrill of it...

You had your dreams beneath your feet.

Then pulled out from under you,

and slowly you come to realize...

 

     You weren't standing like you thought you were,

but instead you've been

                

                 falling.

 

Falling into a darkness beyond knowing.

Falling into a darkness that doesn't seem

                   to end.

 

Falling...

  Falling...

    Falling...

 

Into a dark despair of nothingness

     until you hit the bottom.
