Another tear I cry,
another piece of me that falls.
It's never going to be the same, since we said goodbye.
As the tears fall, I remember,
every memory still remains.
I've got nothing to lose, but everything to gain.
All of the pain you left,
I have seen it all; I have felt it before,
but I still come back for more.
Think I'd learn by now to leave, but
no matter how hard you try, you can't just let go,
or just tell yourself no.
You keep walking back through it again,
hoping to look at you and say, I want something new.
But its all been broken, no words are ever going to spoken,
Change is never going to happen,
Its all been shattered,
and nothing has ever mattered.
Take it for what it is, don't expect more than you can get.
You're not what I saw,
I thought you were the greatest, not one flaw I ever saw.
I thought you would be the same forever,
but not like this... never.
