Serenity

Serenity

A Poem by Annie Ale

Serenity surrounds me.
The sound of voices dance in the air.
Lights shimmer all around.
Children play happily
All along the floor,
Running and walking,
Laughing at their own jokes,
Imagining their own stories,
Being their own people.
Everything has gone well tonight.

Simply splendid...:)....................

Posted 10 Years Ago

This is very nice and simple. People rarely write a poem about simple pleasures. It gave me a good feeling.
