Life Lessons

It's always darkest right before dawn,
and you don't know what you have until it's gone.
These are life lessons of mine.
In order to receive you've gotta give all you've got,
and what you get usually isn't what you sought.
Life lessons even when you're tryin'.
You'll love, hate, and eventually you'll die.
You'll feel sorrow and taste sweet cherry pie.
Life lessons until you're dyin.

Toooo true...this was very well written. People will learn lifes lessons, until they're no longer living. And maybe it was just me, but I caught a slight southern accent to this piece. Another reason I liked it so much ^_^
