I Wait

I Wait

A Poem by Annie29

I can't breathe,

untill I see the day.

I can't sleep.

I'll never be okay.

Just three words,

I want you to say.

Lonely in this bed,

I lay.

Somewhere, Somehow,

I'll find a way.

I won't stop,

untill we're wed.

I won't leave,

untill I'm dead.

Very passionate :)

Yeah the end was a little scratchy, but I liked it! :) Good job. And it was short too. I enjoy shorter poems, because they're quick and usually (if you're a good poet) to the point!

Last line was hard. But rest of poem was hopeful and full of love and desire. I agree with you. When the love is good. We best hold on tight and be thankful. A excellent poem.

About
The reason I write is the reason I breathe, because without it, I would die. I grew up a long time ago. I'm a little too metaphoric, if there is such a word. I use to dream of running through Ter.. more..
