The Waiting Game of LifeA Poem by Annemarie
I have been sitting around waiting for my moment to come
For the victory of knowing my race has been won For my knight in shining armor to save the day For unusual success to come my way But truth is there is no point in waiting around With waiting comes disappointment in this battleground Only time can tell what is meant for me I just have to let go and wait and see I choose to live a day at a time For one day while I am living my sun will then shine The dreams that I have been longing for will appear in front of my face And in that moment I will know why I belong in this place © 2013 AnnemarieReviews
