I had finally found my escape,
only to find myself lost yet again
in this image created before me
by my very hands.
lost in silent music,
lost in happy waves of warmth --
all stress melted away in the hour
of color and memory.
It never fails,
when brush meets canvas,
I am lost in my escape.
