Hesitant

Hesitant

A Poem by Annebelle Ashire

There's an empty feeling to this crouded room.

Everyone is here

Everyone but you.

My heart aches for the gap between us to be filled

But instead every moment alone is stilled.

You said the most amazing thing in this world is being a part of

me

But can't we agree to disagree???

The most amazing thing in this world is being able to not just be

a part of you

But you know you'll always and forever love me too...

You see?

You know how much I've been through,

And I you,

But what I cannot seem to stress enough,

Is that you only think I'm tough...

Without you in my life,

It would be a sad example of Romeo and Juliet

- the only difference being a knife -

I know you'd rather not hear what I'm saying,

But I need to emphasize that you truly are the angel God sent to

me,

After all those years of praying...

There's so much going on inside this head,

But your voice stands above all and what you said,

" Welcome To Forever "

It's at these moments when I wish you were here with me

For us to be:

- Together -

My love,

If you can see the stars tonight

Keep your eyes gazing above

Because you're absolutely right,

They know we both wish,

That at that very moment,

We could share yet another kiss.

[ I miss you so,

My dearest Haven,

Never let go,

Never doubt The Raven ]
