Sediments Of a Shattered Heart

Sediments Of a Shattered Heart

A Poem by Annebelle Ashire

My love,

If I could take it all back,

Please know that I would.

Every star above,

Proves that I should.

But it's not that simple,

The past cannot be replaced.

I truly miss your smiling dimple,

And the words that I've misplaced.

I hope that you can see me running,

Faster than I've ever gone before.

I've never had a rush so cunning,

Racing to your side is what I'm running for.

My love,

Things weren't meant to be easy.

That's how I know push came to shove,

When time became uneasy.

Loved it

I would normally say, you should make it longer, but with this there is no need every things that needed to be said, was in fact said.

Good Job
