A Poem by Annebelle Ashire

Somewhere along the line
I missed the bridge between right and wrong. (x2)

I'm takin' the wrong road
and I didn't even know

I'm takin' the wrong road
I can't seem to let go

Of everything that's ever happened
Every pot-hole in this life
Of ever raindrop that's ever blinded me.

Because,

Somewhere along the line,
I missed the bridge between right and wrong (x2)

You gotta HELP me through this Lord,
Take the wheel, these hands are free,
to do your will.

My hands are free, these hands are free,
Finally!
To do your will.

I offer you this, I praise your name,
I lift up my arms, and welcome you in.

Because,

Somewhere along the line,
I missed the bridge between right and wrong (x2)
