Now You're Gone

Now You're Gone

A Poem by Annebelle Ashire

I just need to understand
All of this pain
Falling to this helpless land
Like careless
Endless rain
Making me so numb
How could I be so dumb?

  (^^Chorus^^)

It was you all along!

You weakened me
With just one touch
To the point where I was no longer strong
It was you I relied on
To hold me up when I was dragged down
It was you I relied on
To make me smile when I was sad

But I was wrong
That's just to damn bad

Help me understand!!

    (chorus)

You don't know how wrong you were
To throw me by and go on with her
With me you left your scars
To hold all night long

The burden you couldn't stand to contain
And now your face,is made of fading stars!

    (chorus)

Now that you're gone I'm so sorry
No longer are you just words
For everyone to hear

You were loved all along
Now you've gone away
I made the mistake
I was wrong!

Now you are my vow

My life long song!
