I dance with the King of Siam

I dance with the King of Siam

A Poem by Anne Timmins

I dance with the King of Siam
please some champagne left for me...
we'll get dizzy
we'll get drunk
spinning till we see
a zebra in a tutu
she dances with a bee

they twirl round and round
levitating high
dancing with the dreams
gyrating in the sky

It's been quite a while since I've seen a zebra in a tutu, but I'm gain! I can be fearless...it might take me a couple of sips of that champagne, but I can twirl round and round!

Lol, oh Anne, how wonderful this is! I adore the title, too!
