sweet potatoe pie

sweet potatoe pie

A Poem by Anne Timmins

i love you
deeply i love many
deeply

please don't call me
director
master
or any such silly name
(even in jest)

i am not impressed
with acronyms or initials
it doesn't shake my tree

please call me

babe, sweets, honey
or any such
term of endearment
(sweet potatoe pie)

ahhh....
and then there is
music

Sweet potatoe pie...
OMG, I have called my husband this!
Along with honey pumpkin lover...
And a load of others.
Love this poem, it's adorable!

Your descriptive narrative is quite excellent due to wonderful word selections.

I was really wondering where this one was leading, but you pulled it all together in the end. I would love to know the reason for the toucan image on this particular poem.

WOW!!!! This is deeply intense, but I am completely enamoured with it.
